”Jerry Spring”, “Blueberry”, “Comanche”, “Buddy Longway”, “Jonathan Cartland” … Hardly any other genre is as popular in comics as the western. Young artists still emulate the classic paragons or use stylistic devices of the genre as a quote or persiflage. The exhibition presents impressive originals by Jijé, Jean Giraud, Hermann, Derib, Michel Blanc-Dumont, François Boucq, among others and also shows examples of the influence of the western on other genres.
