	   Drawn from Life
	   German newspaper strips today 3 to 6 June 2010 Opening hours: Thu noon–7 p.m., Fri/Sat 10 a.m.–7 p.m., Sun 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Rathaus, Kleiner Saal/Bürgermeistergang (1. Stock)
In the last few years – not least because of the success of Volker Reiche’s “Strizz” – the newspaper strip is experiencing a renaissance in Germany. Important impulses for German comics and their broad effect have come from these newspaper strips. Therefore, the Erlangen International Comic Salon 2010 is showcasing the most in-teresting German strips of the last few years in an exhibition, including work by Ralf König („Prototyp“, „Archetyp“), Flix („Da war mal was“, „Faust“), Volker Reiche („Strizz“), Mawil („Vom Leben gezeichnet“), Isabel Kreitz („Deutschland Comic“), ©TOM („Touché“) and others.
